1. Prepare the floor scrubbing equipment.
Fill mop bucket two-thirds with clean, warm water. Fill solution tank with cleaning or disinfectant detergent solution. Transport equipment to work site.
2. Arrange the area to be cleaned
Remove obstructions and place Caution signs in the work area.
3. Dust mop the area to be cleaned
Use the procedure for dust mopping using a clean dust mop.
4. Scrub the area to be cleaned
Operate the floor machine from side to side while dispensing solution. Overlap on each pass to be sure entire floor has been covered. Use hand pad and holder to scrub corners and other areas not accessible to floor machine. A 21" pad on a 20" machine will help clean corners and edges.
5. Remove the dirty solution
Use auto scrubber to remove the dirty solution. Dip the clean mop into clear mop water with neutralizer and rinse wringing out mop frequently. Wipe off baseboards.
6. Put the area back in service
When the floor has dried, remove caution signs. Return furniture and other items removed from the area to their proper placement.
